New Age Spirituality – Morning Has Been All Night Coming ( Part 90 )

God stopped speaking and stood up. I was watching very closely because it’s not every day that one has such an experience as this. As I stared at Her, Her body became blurry and I squinted my eyes in an effort to focus. Then, a split second later, She changed into the form of a male. I held my breath for a few seconds and reasoned to myself that I’d be waking up shortly and all this would have been just a bizarre dream, not real at all.

“This is real,John,” God said. “But it’s also a dream, although not in the way you normally think. Also, since this culture thinks of me as male, I have assumed the form of a male. And sure, I know your thoughts. I know everybody’s thoughts when I want to know them. You were also thinking that it’s not every day that one has an audience with me. Well, you’re wrong there. Every day, every hour, every second one can have access to me. I’m in every part of my creation and every part of it is in me. And about this male-female situation,it really isn’t important. There are many more important matters to deal with than trying to figure out whether I am male or female, black or white, yellow or red, Christian or Jew, Hindu or Muslim. I am all of these and more.”

“Then what about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit?” I asked.

“In some cultures, that is what is preferred. In others it is Mother,Daughter and Holy Spirit. In still others it is Creator, Preserver and Destroyer. How about Creator, Child and the Whole of Spirit? It doesn’t matter. God is One, but each life-form perceives me differently. Come, let’s go visit one of my favorite spots.”
