| You see, my Chieftain, you have always helped me to help others. Like me, you, too, do not remember the things you do in other dimensions. You may not remember the time we gathered together from all parts of the Earth,a hundred thousand bright, shining lights. It was a time of great turmoil and there were wars and rumors of wars. We came together and spoke of love and compassion. There, you taught some of us about the love our Creator has for us and how our joy in life would spring from giving service to others. You showed us by example that we were all shining lights and that, to shine brighter, we were to always lend a helping hand to our less fortunate brothers and sisters. You explained to us the sacred nature of all life forms, and you taught us to respect their unique lives. We watched you as you went through your very own trials and tribulations and saw you in agony as you yearned for peace and joy. But never did we see you lose hope. Never, never did we hear you cry out and curse your God. Though you fell, you got up. When the rivers of faith almost ran dry, you still maintained hope. Although our hearts ached for you,you were and always will be our inspiration. So, you see, you are my Chieftain. As for the first part of your question, I know so much because you taught me so much. We both were quiet for a while. The sound of the waves on the shoreline of the village was soothing music to my ears. A northeasterly wind began blowing and gently caressed my face as it warmed my body and soul. Donald stood next to me and, from the corner of my eye,did not appear as old and weathered as when I first saw him. A strong bond was developing between us. The Scotsman and I stood there enjoying the contemplation of just being, of just living, of life itself. Wasnt Fleming born in Lochfield? I asked. Whats he doing here?
